If you had to find me anywhere, it would be at the beach (or Karoo), behind a book or my desk, listening to the ocean. The wild ocean is like my home away from home. I have a passion for nature and for finding beauty in the little things. I strive to create art that emits the vulnerable, meaningful things. The things that are true and real and beautiful.

I used to take photos of my friends at school with my dad's old point and shoot camera. My dad bought me my first Nikon DSLR D3100 camera for my 18th birthday and I couldn’t put it down. I went on to study Visual Arts for 7 years, and received my Masters degree in visual arts/photography from NMU in the Eastern Cape. During my studies I exhibited in many photo exhibitions, worked long and hard documenting Afrikaner women for my Masters Thesis. During this time I second shot with multiple wedding photographers to get an income and it’s here where I fell in love with love. Cheesy I know. I guess what I’m trying to say is that getting here was no walk in the park, but I wouldn't change it for the world! 

Even though I can be a fly on the wall and get good shots, that is just not who I am. I know it is cheesy but I am here for the real stuff, YOUR love story! It makes me happy to see what makes your heartbeat and how much you love and are loved. And yes, I will cry at your ceremony because I am here for you and I want to witness it all. I am by your side the whole day and who wants a stranger to follow them around, and let’s be honest… You won’t be your 100% self with a stranger so let’s get to know each other and be friends. I want us to create these images together, images that accurately depict who you are as a couple. These are your images after all and I want these images to bring back all the emotions you were feeling. This isn’t about me, my style, and what I need to make myself look good on Instagram.
